Caregivers can easily monitor the status of their background check through the DanberKidz app. Follow the steps below to stay updated:
Step 1: Log In to Your Account
- Open the DanberKidz - For Caregiver app and log in using your phone number and OTP verification.
- Ensure you’re accessing the Caregiver app.
Step 2: Navigate to the Background Check Section
- Go to the Account Menu by tapping the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Background Check Status from the menu options.
Step 3: View Status Details
- You’ll see one of the following status updates:
- Pending: Your background check is still in progress.
- Clear: Your background check is complete and verified.
- Not Eligible: Your background check did not pass.
Step 4: Next Steps for Each Status
- Pending: No action is needed. Most background checks are completed within 7 business days.
- Clear: You’re all set! Your profile is active, and you can start receiving bookings.
- Not Eligible: If your background check come back as 'Not Eligible', you can escalate the issue:
- Navigate to DanberKidz Support in the app.
- Select Submit a Ticket.
- Select Safety & Compliance and then Background Check Escalation.
- Provide a detailed explanation and attach any supporting documents to appeal the decision.
Step 5: Contact Support if Necessary
- If your status hasn’t updated after 7 business days or you have questions, please submit a support ticket.
