How to Create a DanberKidz Account

Creating a DanberKidz account is simple and ensures you’re ready to connect with trusted caregivers or parents. Follow the steps below to complete your setup.

Step 1: Download the DanberKidz App

Visit the App Store on your iOS device.
If you are a Parent wanting to book caregivers, Search for "DanberKidz - For Parents" and tap Download.
If you are a Caregiver wanting to provide care and earn, Search for "DanberKidz - For Caregivers" and tap Download.
Once the app is installed, open it.

Step 2: Start the Sign-Up Process

Tap the Get Started button on the welcome screen, after clicking through the carousel.

Step 3: Enter Your Information

Enter your U.S. 10-digit phone number.
Tap Next to proceed.

Step 4: Verify Your Account

A One-Time Passcode (OTP) will be sent to your phone via SMS.
Enter the 6-digit OTP when prompted.
- Tip: If you don’t receive the OTP within 1 minute, tap Resend Code to get a new one.

Step 5: Complete Stripe ID Verification

Once your OTP is confirmed, you’ll be prompted to complete Stripe ID Verification.
Follow the steps to verify your identity, including:
- Uploading a valid government-issued ID.
- Providing additional information required by Stripe for verification.
Once verified, proceed to the next step.

Step 6: Set Up Your Profile

After Stripe verification, you’ll move on to profile setup.
Some fields, such as your name and address, will be prefilled from the Stripe verification process.
Fill in any additional details like:
- Email Address
- Password (create a strong and memorable password).
Tap Save to complete your profile.

Step 7: Choose a Trial or Subscription

For Parents:

Start a 30-day free trial to explore the app’s features.

For Caregivers:

Select a membership plan to activate your account. (Caregivers are not eligible for a trial due to the cost of the background check.)

Once your trial or subscription is activated, you’ll gain full access to the app.

Step 8: Explore the DanberKidz App!

Parents can browse caregiver profiles and make bookings.
Caregivers can update availability, view bookings, and connect with parents.
